Logo Design & Branding in Asheville Since 1999

Marks, Identities & Other Recognizable Things.

A good identity should look like it belongs to the business wearing it. Over the years, we’ve designed logos and visual identities for contractors, restaurants, retailers, professional firms, nonprofits, startups, and businesses that stubbornly refuse to fit into a convenient category.

Some needed an identity from scratch. Others needed to grow out of something that no longer fit. Here are some of the results.

More Than a Logo in a Folder.

A logo has to work somewhere. On a website. On a truck. On a sign. In a social profile the size of a postage stamp. In black and white, in color, enormous, tiny, and occasionally on something nobody mentioned when the project started.

That’s why our logo and branding work is built around use, not just presentation. Depending on the project, that can include primary and secondary marks, color systems, typography, visual direction, messaging, and guidelines that help everything continue looking like it came from the same business.

Blue Dozen has been designing for businesses and organizations in Asheville and Western North Carolina since 1999. Some of the work here was part of a larger website or branding project. Some started with the much simpler request: “We need a logo.”
